Villa Jacquemont.

In a timber-framed building typical of the Batignolles neighbourhood, on the 5th and top floor of a small co-ownership, this elegantly renovated studio has a surface area of 14.34 square metres (carrez law) with a ceiling height of 2.60 metres.

The functional entrance has been designed as a storage space, featuring a wardrobe, bookshelf, and shelves. It forms part of the cleverly arranged and well-thought-out layout of this apartment, which is in perfect condition and has been carefully renovated.

The white and soft pastel tones of the living area create a calming atmosphere. The warmer tones of the solid wood flooring complement the golden arabesques of the graphic, art deco-inspired wallpaper. Overlooking the courtyard, the room enjoys beautiful natural light, thanks to its southwest exposure and unobstructed view.

Continuing from this space, the fitted kitchen is optimised to accommodate storage and appliances while maintaining comfort and practicality.

Shower room with toilet.

Villa Jacquemont

It was first opened at the beginning of the 19th century, when it was still part of the commune of Clichy, under the name "impasse de Chartres," due to its proximity to the former Rue de Chartres, which later became Rue Jacquemont. From 1869, it was renamed "impasse Jacquemont" and then "cité Jacquemont," before taking its current name.

The area became part of the commune of Batignolles-Monceau until the latter was annexed to Paris by the law of 16 June 1859, and it was incorporated into the Parisian road network by a decree on 23 May 1863.

The street is named after the French botanist and explorer Venceslas Victor Jacquemont (1801-1832).

According to census records, the building where the apartment is located was a dyeing workshop in 1926. It was then transformed into a hotel between 1931 and 1936. From 1954 to 1974, the building housed an obstetric-surgical clinic.
